Change of Mind Returns & Exchanges

We put so much love into every Clay & Hutch order, and we genuinely hope you and your little one are thrilled with what arrives at your door.

That said on the rare occasion that you may need to return something, we completely understand — sometimes things don't fit quite right, or they’re just not quite what you had in mind. Here's how we handle returns and exchanges:

  • Please get in touch with us at hello@clayandhutch.com.au within 30 days of receiving your order so we can get the process started.
  • All items must be returned in their original condition, with tags still attached and in a re-sellable state — unworn, unaltered, and with all original packaging intact. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Due to the limited nature of our products, we are unable to accept exchanges. The best option is to submit a refund for the unwanted item and repurchase the preferred item.
  • Approved returns will receive a full store credit or 90% refund to the original payment method of the value of the items (excluding any gift packaging).
  • Sale items are final — no returns or exchanges, sorry.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Once we've received your return, we'll happily cover the cost of sending your new items out to you.
  • We strongly recommend sending returns via a tracked postage option, as Clay & Hutch cannot be held responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged while in transit on the way back to us.

Damaged or Faulty Item 

In the case that an item is found damaged or faulty, we are more than happy to refund it.

As for the damaged or faulty item, if it is the Clay & Hutch brand, we don’t want to contribute to landfill and shipping pollution, so feel free to keep it. Perfect for daycare or messy play.

Please note this returns policy does not apply to items that have been worn, washed, damaged after delivery, altered, or broken.
